SEPLITE® CT502 Catalyst Resin
Product Overview
SEPLITE® CT502 is a large-bead polymeric catalyst manufactured through a specialized one-step polymerization process of styrene and divinylbenzene followed by sulfonation. Designed for catalytic reaction towers and reactive distillation systems, it combines catalytic activity with separation functions, helping improve process efficiency while reducing equipment investment.
 
Featuring uniform particle size, ultra-large pore structure, high exchange capacity, and excellent mechanical strength, SEPLITE® CT502 delivers superior mass transfer performance, high catalytic activity, and long service life under demanding industrial operating conditions.

Applications

  • Isobutene hydration to produce tert-butyl alcohol (TBA)

  • Isobutene production through tert-butanol dehydration
  • Other acid-catalyzed petrochemical reactions

  • In case of eye contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice
  • Dispose of materials according to local regulations
  • Dry polymer may expand and generate heat when wetted
  • Spilled material may create slippery surfaces
