Advanced Process Technology: Simulated Moving Bed (SMB)

At the core of SepGold™ is a Simulated Moving Bed (SMB) design—a highly efficient configuration for continuous gold recovery. In this system:

Resin columns remain fixed; their function cycles automatically

Each column operates in stages:

1. Gold sorption from pregnant leach solution (PLS)

2. Backwashing of solids

3. Upgrading of gold loading from desorbate

4. Countercurrent desorption

5. Resin washing

Automated valve switching controls the entire cycle without manual handling

Columns and cycle times are optimized based on specified data (gold concentration, pH, resin kinetics)
