SEPLITE® LSF 960 is a non-functionalized adsorbent resin based on styrene-divinylbenzene copolymers, specifically engineered for the removal of pesticide residues from red fruit juices.
 
With its tailored pore structure, LSF 960 enables efficient adsorption of a wide range of pesticides while minimizing color removal, making it especially suitable for maintaining the natural appearance and quality of red fruit juices.

Recommended Operation
 
Resin Pre-treatment
  • Wash with 2 BV ethanol solution
  • Rinse with purified water until ethanol odor is eliminated
Regeneration
  • Treat with 2–3 BV of 2% hot caustic solution (80°C)
  • Flow rate: 2 BV/h
Acid Neutralization (Optional)
  • Use 0.5 BV of 2% phosphoric acid
  • Flow rate: 2 BV/h
  • Purpose: reduce rinsing water consumption and sodium content
Water Rinsing
  • Rinse with water until neutral pH (~7)
  • Resin is then ready for reuse
Storage & Handling
  • Store in sealed containers or bags
  • Keep in a cool area with temperature above 0°C

Safety Precautions

  • Avoid eye contact; rinse immediately with plenty of water if exposure occurs
  • Dispose of materials according to local regulations
  • Dry resin expands when wetted and may release heat
  • Spilled resin may cause slippery surfaces
