SEPLITE® LSF983 is a food grade, polyacrylic macroporous weak acidic cation resin.
This resin is characterized by its acrylic matrix and low swelling. The resin have a higher selectivity for divalent cations like lead, cadmium, copper, cobalt, and nickel than SAC resins. By removing the hardness as well as these heavy metals which are harmful to human health, the resin can improve the taste and purity of drinking water.
Due to the polyacrylic matrix, the resin has good resistance to attrition and is very stable to commonly used chemicals.
LSF983 is most commonly used in drinking water production and food industry such as sugar, also used in standard mixed bed system.
Manufacturing process is fully compliant with European Union regulation on Ion Exchange Resins and Adsorbers used in the processing of foodstuffs ResAP 2004(3).

Resin partially loaded with Sodium or Potassium ions is also available upon request.
Resins should be stored in sealed containers or bags where temperature was above 0℃ in dry conditions without exposure to direct sunlight. Do not mix ion exchange resin with strong oxidizing agents; otherwise it will cause violent reactions.
In case of eyes contact with resins, rinse eyes immediately with plenty of water, and consult a specialist. Material and samples must be disposed according to local regulations.
Dry polymers will expand when become wetted and may cause an exothermic reaction. Spilled materials may be slippery.

The Phase I acceptance inspection of this Lithium carbonate extraction project is smoothly passed. Recently, the performance acceptance of the transformation and expansion project of the Minmetals Salt Lake’s 4,000 t/a lithium carbonate production line implemented by Sunresin has been successfully completed, marking the successful conclusion of this benchmark project of Lithium Extraction from salt lake brine. The construction of this project started in late November 2021 and has gone through a number of challenging conditions such as the Covid lockdown and logistics challenges caused by the pandemic. Since the beginning of the project, Sunresin has mobilized a highly dedicated, customer-oriented and solution-driven team to ensure the smooth operation of the project and timely implementation and production on site.
