SEPLITE® LSF 974 is a gel type strong acid cation resin with polystyrene-divinylbenzene matrix and in monodispersed particles, it has a reticulated structure. Among the functional groups, exchangeable ions are evenly distributed on the surface of the reticulated space. Compared with normal SAC cation, it enjoys a much stronger matrix and which ensures its good resistance of osmotic shock.
The resin is suitable for fixed bed adsorption, moving bed adsorption and stirring adsorption. It was specially developed for applications like amino acid, lysine, thin juice, sugar etc.
Manufacturing process is fully compliant with European Union regulation on Ion Exchange Resins and Adsorbers used in the processing of foodstuffs ResAP 2004(3).
Please follow our start-up recommendations which is available upon request, when using our products in food applications.

Excellent mechanical strength;
Long service life;
High exchange efficiency;
Backwash the resin with pure water for 1-2 hours at the rate of 12-15m m3/h;
Add 5-10bv 4% hydrochloric acid and treat it for 3-4 hours;
Wash with pure water until it becomes neutral;
Regenerate with 2-4bv 6% ammonia.
Resins should be stored in sealed containers or bags where temperature was above 0℃ in dry conditions without exposure to direct sunlight. Do not mix ion exchange resin with strong oxidizing agents; otherwise it will cause violent reactions.
In case of eyes contact with resins, rinse eyes immediately with plenty of water, and consult a specialist.
Material and samples must be disposed according to local regulations.
Dry polymers will expand when become wetted and may cause an exothermic reaction. Spilled materials may be slippery.

We are excited to announce that Fred Ghanem has joined Sunresin as Vice President of Life Science division managing the American market. Fred has 25 years experience in Ion Exchange Resins, adsorbents and specialty resins and 4 years in catalysis. With a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology and a PhD in Chemical Engineering, expected 2023, Fred is a great asset that will help the company to grow substantially in the Life Science market.
We are excited to announce that Sunresin New Material has entered in a collaboration agreement starting from August 2023 with Prof Fernando Albericio and Prof Beatriz G. De La Torre from University of KwaZulu-Natal (UKZN), South Africa, for the development of new resins for Solid-Phase Peptide Synthesis (SPPS), optimization of existing products and the development of novel chemistry to support pharmaceutical industry. Fernando does not need presentation. With more than 1000 publications in the field of SPPS and many patents, Fernando has helped for decades the peptide market to grow, expand and support patient life with the discovery of efficient processes for the manufacture of peptide APIs. Sunresin is now a recognized global leading company manufacturing on multiple ton scale resins that allow the production of API peptide by solid phase synthesis.
Sunresin is a leading company manufacturing Ion exchange resins, adsorbents and specialty resins for different industries. Sunresin has its headquarter in Xi’an China and is rapidly expanding globally. For our international Life Science division we looking for a Regulatory and QA manager able to assist the company growing in this field.
